Before you return: most inflatable issues are quick fixes.

Returns & Warranty — Inflatable Toys

We want every kid smiling. If something isn’t right, we’ll help you fix it fast. Many issues are solved in minutes with our Manuals & Videos.

30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days after delivery to request a return.

  • Item must be new/unused, in the same condition you received it, with all parts, and in the original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (Shopify order number or Amazon Order ID) is required.

Before You Return (Inflatable-Specific)

Most inflatable issues are quick fixes:

  • Won’t stand up? Fill the base completely with water (or sand), then re-inflate the top. See “Toy Won’t Stand Up?” on our Manuals & Videos page.
  • Suspected air leak? Inflate, wipe with soapy water to find bubbles, dry, apply the clear patch, let set ~20 minutes, then top off air. 60-sec video on our Manuals page.
  • Missing cap/plug/patch kit? Contact us — we can send replacements.

Clean, used inflatables that are not defective generally aren’t eligible for return, but we’ll troubleshoot and support with parts.

How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim

Email support@preferredtoys.com with:

  • Your order number (Shopify) or Amazon Order ID
  • Product name and a brief description of the issue
  • Photos or a short video link (for damage/leaks/standing issues)
  • Your best contact email/phone

If purchased on Amazon, you may be required to start the process through your Amazon account’s Returns Center.

Damages, Defects & Missing Parts

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us right away if the item is defective, missing parts, damaged in transit, or incorrect.

  • For approved warranty claims, we typically replace or send parts. In most cases, you do not need to send the old toy back (we may request photos for verification).
  • If a return is required, we’ll provide a prepaid return label and instructions. Items returned without prior approval (RMA) will not be accepted.

Return Eligibility & Condition

  • New/unused items only, in original packaging with all included parts.
  • Drain and dry any water/sand from bases before shipping back (if a return is authorized).
  • We cannot accept returns for gift cards or items marked final sale.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to place a new order once your return is approved. We’ll process the refund as soon as we receive and inspect the original item (if a return was required).

Return Shipping & Labels

  • Our fault (defect, wrong item, transit damage): We cover return shipping or send a replacement/parts at no cost.
  • Change of mind: You’re responsible for return shipping; we’ll provide a label and may deduct the shipping cost from your refund.
  • Items must be approved for return before shipping back.

European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order ships into the EU, you have the right to cancel or return within 14 days for any reason. Items must be new/unused, with tags, and in original packaging. Proof of purchase required. You may be responsible for return shipping.

Refunds

  • We’ll notify you after we receive and inspect your return and let you know if the refund is approved.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at support@preferredtoys.com.
